What Causes Bloating And Tightness In The Abdomen?

Hi, I had a termanation 3 days ago I was 7weeks. I was given Zazithromycin gram 4 tablets which was taken all at once. I was sick 2 hours after when u got home, haven t had any further antibiotics, my belly is massive and very tight I look 3/4 months pregnant. Why is this ? Many thanks for your help.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of termination of pregnancy at 7 weeks 3 days ago and was given 4 tablets of Zazithromycin, wherein you got sick, massive belly and looking very tight as if 3-4 months pregnant, wants to know the reasons.
The most probable causes are:
Either there is perforation of the uterus causing the intestinal symptoms.
Can be due to Azithromycin.
I would suggest you the following:
Rush back to the hospital or ER.
Get admitted as you need immediately supportive treatment to start with as you have to be nil orally.
Intra-venous fluids, antibiotics if required.
Urgent investigations of the blood, urine and ultrasonography and X-ray of the chest in standing position.
This will give an idea about the possible problems and the management to be done.
