What Causes Bloating And Tightness In The Lower Abdomen?

I just started experiencing a bloating and tight feeling in the lower abdomen, but also my middle abdomen. It has been going on for 2 days, including today. I feel better if I do not eat or drink much at all. No sharp pain, but it I press down it does feel uncomfortable.
