What Causes Bloating Post Gastrectomy Treatment?
I can hardly eat after undergoing total gastrectomy ( June 10th 2011).In fact, as soon as I eat , I fel my intestine bloating and am under dull pain till I vomit or rush for a diarhea....I'm lost...have to resume work on Sept 1st ( no choice) ... what should I do?

Hi,
After gastrectomy you can have indigestion and bloating.
I advise the following
1. Small meals as the stomach have been removed and food directly goes to the intestine
2. Avoid drinking water after food for 1 hour atleast
