What Causes Blockage And Fullness Feeling In Left Ear?
My left ears feels full and blocked, I can hear a loud whooshing pulse, I hear a crack on swallowing and have occasional dizziness. I have had tinnitus mainly in the right ear for 7 years but have got used to it. What is this new problem on the left and how can it be treated?
As per your query you have fullness in your ear along with dizziness , you also had tinnitus from last 7 years . There can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like ear infection and meniere's disease . . But in your case the infection has spread to the ear through eustachian tube form either upper respiratory track infection or post nasal drip . The cracking sound is due to blockage of eustachian tube blockage , also known as eustachian tube dysfunction . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order test like CT scan , throat swab test and vital culture test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , decongestant and mucolytic agent .Also doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug and sedatives for tinnitus .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
