What Causes Blockage In Ears With Tingling In The Face?
Hi, one of my ears (left ear) feels like it is completely blocked and that side of my face feels tingly as well in the morning when I wake up my eye has puss in it (right ieye) and a couple mornings ago I had to use a warm cloth to get it open. Also before my ear felt pugged I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst pain in it, that was about 5 days ago? What could this be?
Severe pain in left ear with feeling of blockage can be due to fluid build up in middle cavity, the commonest reason is rhinitis that is infection and inflammation in nose that gets transferred through eustachian tube. The same can also cause retrograde infection of nasolacrimal duct and thus conjunctivitis that caused eye to get pus.
Consult your Doctor immediately so that a clinical examination, investigations can lead to a proper diagnosis and thus proper course of medicines in the form of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, symptomatic and supportive medicines can be started. If required he can send with a reference slip to an ENT and / or eye specialist for further evaluation, and management.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
