Hello Tear ducts connect eye to nose and drain tears from eyes to nose. The block in the duct will lead to watering. The commonest cause for block in the tear duct is chronic dacryocystitis. The treatment is mainly by surgery in the form of dacryocystorhinostomy. The site of block can be made out by performing lacrimal syringing or by dacryocystography. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
