What Causes Blockage With Cracking Noise In Ears?

Hi I have developed a cracking noise in my right ear. Feels as if I have water trapped in there but I don t think this is the case. Also I have suffered with tinnitus for the last four or so years. It is a lot worse sitting or lying down and virtually disappears when standing. I can make it go away by opening my mouth or folding my ear flat! Any idea what may be causing this? hello, thanks for ur query, ear is connect by nose by et ( eusthacian tube) , whenever this tube blocked ( cold, flu, sinusitis, allergy) u feel ear block sensation, you can hear ringing sounds.u can start decongestant tab. xyzal- d ( levocitrizine+ pseudoephidrine) one tab ya bed time for7 days, xylometazoline nasal drops 3 drops/ 3 time/1 week. valsalva manoere ( watch utube ) , chew chewing gum can be tried ,all d best. take care.
