What Causes Blood Clot Discharge After Passing Stomach Gas?

What can cause alot of gas and come out as a blood clot or several clots at a time? I have just recently had a colonoscopy and it came back normal with the exception of a few small internal hemmoroids. There is no blood in the stool itself but my bm are sometimes just forceful gas followed by many clots and the color of the blood is pomegranite.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This definitely sounds like hemorrhoidal bleeding. If it does not bother you or lead to frank signs of anemia (pallor, dizziness, low urine production), you do not have to do anything about it. Considering you had a recent colonoscopy, further diagnostic steps are unnecessary.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
