What Causes Blood Clot On The Lower White Part Of The Eye?

Hi my name is Kristle. My fiance woke up this morning with a blood clot on the lower white part of his left eye ball. When he went to sleep he was fine. Nothing happened prior to hide eye to cause this. What caused an over night blood clot to appear? Should we be worried?

Hello
I have read your problem.
This is known as subconjunctival haemorrhage.
Cause are viral infections, trauma,bleeding disorders, high blood pressure .
Usually its harmless and clears with in 2 to 3 weeks but if it is reccurent then proper evaluation is required.
So you don't worry it will be cleared in 2-3 weeks without any treatment.
