my girlfriend had an ear infection this morning, so she was going to go to the doctor but her work wouldn t give her the time off. she gets off work and it isn t so bad so she decides to wait til tomorrow, she goes back to work for her split shift and now blood is coming out of her ears. What s wrong and how bad is it?
Pain in ears along with bleeding from the ears is an indication that there is severe infection in the ears leading to inflammation of ear canals causing bleeding..
So my suggestion is that you should immediately take her to an Emergency room or an ENT Physician and get evaluated and an Otoscopic examination of ear can be done..
In case if infection is ruled out then she can be advised a course of antibiotics to be taken orally along with painkillers and antibiotics and pain relieving ear drops like Otogesic ear drops..
Manual cleaning of ears can also be done for faster relief..
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
