What Causes Blood In Ear?
I have blood in my left ear. No pain. I discovered it with a q tip but I am careful to not clean hard or agressively. I saw the blood and explored a little deeper in my ear. It is way up in the ear. Could this be coming from irritated sinuses. I do have allergies and it has been very windy and dry here.I am 51 years of age, 5 foot 8, 150 pounds...female. I am taking Effexor but no other medications.

Blood from sinuses can not come through the ear.
Secondly the blood you saw must be because of the trauma you caused to the ear canal skin.
And deep inside there must be wax or blood got accumulated , which you felt coming from the sinuses.
You should not clean your ears and always get it checked from the ENT specialist .
