What Causes Blood In Semen?

I recently had sex with my partner and when I ejaculated I noticed a touch of blood in my semen. It wasn't a dark colour it was fairly light. Now it doesn't hurt when I ejaculate or urinate and it is the first time this has happened to me so I am scared. I masturbated again to see if the blood wasn't from me but from my partner, and there was still sight of blood there but not as much as before? Please Help

Hi, and thank you for asking us on HCM!

I think you don't have to worry if that is not happening again. A little urethral trauma may have been the cause of the bleeding. Also if your girlfriend has passed the periods nearly some of her blood may have gone through your urethra too.
