What Causes Blood In Stool After A Hemmoridoctomy?

Hi sir My self is vinod from india 23rs..I undergone open internal rigid sphinterotomy and hemmoridoctomy for cronic anal fissure and piles at 4,7,11 clock position.But i have severe pain in anal canal all time but during BM it get worst.It has been 23 days i undergone sugery i also see some blood in stools.Without stool softner i cant bear the pain.I need your valuable answer sir..THANK YOU

Hi. Thanks for the query. Having performed a number of fissure surgeries, I can understand your concern. Your condition is slightly complicated since you had both hemorrhoids as well as fissure. Therefore, it ll take time for the anal wound to heal. I would suggest you to perform Sitz bath daily morning (sit in warm water with potassium permanganate in it) and maintain a healthy diet with fiber rich food stuffs. You can continue the stool softner till the wound heals completely. Hope I have answered your question.
