What Causes Blood In Stool And Brown Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy?
Hello. My wife is 6th week and 6 days pregnant. Every time she goes to the toilet and have any sort of bowel movement there is a significant ammount of blood and dark brown mucus vaginal discharge. We are paniking that there might be something bad happening. This happens only when there is a bowel movement. Could you pleas gives an idea what this might be. We did have IVF treatment. HcG hormone tests shows my wife is still pregnant and we are due for first ultrasound scan in 5 days.

Hello, sir you have to confirm whether these discharges comes with stool or vagina. If it is coming from vagina you must visit your gynaecologist. it is coming during stools because of pressure of bowel movement. A kind of menses with decreased volume may come in first month of pregnancy. It will disappear after 1-2 month if any other problem is not there.
