Constipation can lead to what is known as "diverticula" due to increased pressure in the colon. This is common in the western world (I am unsure as where you reside) these outpuchings (diverticula) happen in typically in the sigmoid colon and are associated with weakenings in the wall of the bowel where the blood vessels supply the colon. This can lead to weakening of the bowel wall which causes the diverticula to bleed. Typically this stops on its own. You are quite young to have this problem, but if you have had life long constipation , it is a possibility. If it persists consider a colonoscopy to evaluate your colon. If the bleeding becomes frequent or profuse seek medical attention.
