What Causes Blood In Stool?

Im 24 years old am about 140lb and am 5'7
I have been having blood in my stool for three days now, there was a bit in the poop with little mucus and bright red blood when I wipe also. Is this bad? Do I need to see a doctor? Is this common? Please help!

I really appreciate your concern, it is not normal one and it can not be taken as granted but the underlying cause of this is matters the great, most of the time it may be due to constipation, and if this is so the it has to be relieved, second it may be due to infection and it may be due to diet too, it is not the common condition also but it can not be taken as granted and better to see the doctor for differentiation, if constipation is there then it may not need any medicine but diet change can helps, hope this information helps.
