I have had stomach cramps today have been to the restroom several times at first I had a grey stool with something in it that I thought was blood. Just went a few mins ago there is blood present in toilet and on stool it was a small blood clot on stool with blood in toilet. I have had this before but it was a lot of blood it would sound like diarrhea but was pure blood had scope done on lower colon about yr ago they didn't fine anything. Should I be worried I checked rectum no blood as far as finger tip that I just did after the blood
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern first thing and important is to rule out the presence of blood and for that it is highly advisable to get done the routine blood test and if it is positive then it is more important to see the source of bleeding in GI tract but in most of the cases it is from the rectum it self if not the inflammatory condition of intestine, it may be due to constipation, it may be nonspecific too, hope this information helps
