I have blood in my stool from last 4 days.it is bright red blood it starts after I have my first bowel movement.I don't have diaerria or any kind of pain.I have fever though.the external exam doesn't show anything.
What it could be with blood in the stool and fever
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. It is likely that you are having gastroenteritis . You should have stool r/e ,c/s and stool for ova and parasites. Most of the times it gets better on its own but if fever and bloody stool is persisting than you may need antibiotics. Other possibility is that you may be having hemorrhoids . To diagnose hemorrhoids your physician will do digital rectal examination and can proceed with proctoscopy.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate to ask. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
