What Causes Blood In The Stool And Lower Abdominal Pain?
I was constipated this morning. I finally was able to go.But then right away i got diarrhea.I noticed later in the day that there was blood in my stool. After a couple trips to the bathroom,I noticed that blood was the only thing coming out. I also have sever lower abdominal pain with it.

if you have repeated episodes of bloody diarrhea
the differentials are : 1. infectious diarrhea 2. Hemorrhoids 3. IBD 4. Colon Cancer
however, none can be justified until you have done certain tests.
advice:
1. visit gastroenterologist or treating physician asap
2. get some tests done: 1. CBC 2. Stool test 3. sigmoidoscopy or colonoscopy if you have a family history of colon cancer or your age>55

You have problem of blood in stool and lower abdominal pain. It may be because of intestinal infection like ulcerative colitis or chons disease. ..etc.
Divirticulitis may cause blood in stool problem.
Intestinal poly may cause blood in stool problem .
Stool examination test is helpful for diagnose.
Abdominal ultrasound sonography can done.
If needed than colonoscopy can do for further diagnosis.
Consent a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis.
