What Causes Blood In The Urine?
I have noticed the I am bleeding when I urinate. My doctor gave me Cipro for 5 days. The bleeding stopped while taking this medicine. Now that I am off these pills, I have blood in my urine again. My doctor did a urinalysis. He will have the results of this on Monday. Meantime I am nervous at what this could be. Thank you.

The main reasons for blood in urine are either infection with or without calculus or tumors. It may be due to infection since it stopped from taking antibiotics. Maybe you should take another antibiotic that will come as result of uroculture and for 14-21 days .
