What Causes Blood In Urine, Abdominal Swelling And Headache?

I had blood in my urine 1 week ago. I took my antibiotics and I feel like the infection is coming back. My abdominal area is swelled, burns to urinate, and I have a really bad headache. I have had 3 bladder infections in the last year and 2 of those times I urinated what looked like all blood. I have been tired as well.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello! Welcome to HealthCareMagic.
In my clinic, for these complaints like burning & blood in urine, I advise X-ray KUB, ultrasound abdomen & pelvis, renal function tests, blood sugar & urine routine.
This helps us to know the cause of blood in urine & also infection if any.
Stones commonly cause both these blood & infection in urine.
Treatment depends on diagnosis.
If diabetic, strict sugar control is necessary for control of infection.
Hope this information is useful for you.
Wish you healthy life.
Thanks. Regards.
