What Causes Blood In Urine After A Fall?

Hard fall backwards, fell onto back,broke head of radius left wrist (surgery scheduled for tomorrow). feel swollen under bottom of left rib & to left of belly button. No pain or discoloration there. Blood in urine, not red, but dark spots . Extreme thirst. What internal organ could have been hurt in fall? Age 43,5'8",118 lbs.existing scoliosis.

Hello,

Prime suspected organ to be injured in this manner, to lead to hematuria, with descending order of frequency is left kidney -- urinary bladder (less likely).

Need primarily ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis to confirm the diagnosis and further management plan decisions before proceeding for fracture surgery.
