hi my father is 65 years old and he did an endoscopy in a hospital in Thailand. After the report doctor said everything was OK and we came back to Maldives. Things seemed normal in the first few days. But after the 4th day after the tests he noticed blood in his urine. Today there was more blood. Is it normal after endoscopy??
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Yes, it is normal. Blood in urine is may be due to endoscopy. You can take tab. tramexamic acid after consultation. If there is more blood in urine then kindly consult with urologist. Kindly watch for other symptoms like fever, abdominal pain. Take care.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shyam B. Kale
