What Causes Blood In Urine After Taking Amoxicillin?
I've been taking Amoxicillin 500 for 4 days and yesterday my urine was bloody. Today it's normal but I had some blood like period blood in the evening but now nothing. I feel depressed, anxious and I have a light headache and when I called the doctor he told me to continue taking it but if the symptoms continue I have to stop
Hello You are taking amoxycillin 500 mg ( dosage not mentioned ) for last 4 days . Now there is blood in the urine . There are so many side effects of amoxy as nausea , vomiting , diarrhea but there are also thrombocytopenia ( decrease level of platelets) ,this may be responsible for blood in urine . Other side effects are leucopenia agranulpocytosis and so many others . So in my opinion you should consult your treating physician regarding this blood . Hope this will help you.
