Hello and welcome to Healthcaremagic.
I am Dr Asad Sami.I have read your question and I can understand your concerns.I will be answering you.
What is your age..??
For how long these symptoms are present..??
Do you have any
bleeding disorder.. ??
Are you running fever..??
Any history of flank pain..??
Any history of kidney stones..??
What is the grade of your haemorrhoids..??
Any history of liver disease..??
Any history of diabetes or
hypertension..??
If I were treating you in my clinic i would have done your general physical examination to look for anaemia and jaundice..bleeding can cause anaemia which can be treated by transfusing blood if it is severe but cause of bleeding should be addressed properly.I would have done your digital rectal exam to look for the haemorrhoids and ascertain their grade. There are 4 grades of haemorrhoids.grade one and two are usually treated conservatively.I would have prescribed tab daflon 500mg two tablets three times a day for 4 days, then two tablets two times a day for three days and then one tablet two times a day for one month.this drug has shown promise in treating haemorrhoids in some clinical trials.grade 3 and 4 haemorrhoids can also be given trial of tablet daflon.however surgery is the modality of choice for 3rd and 4rth grade haemorrhoids.surgical choice include BANDING of haemorrhoids,INJECTION OF SCLEROSANT ie ALMOND OIL into the haemorrhoidal tissue,STAPLED HAEMORRHOIDOPEXY,OPEN HAEMORRHOIDECTOMY AND CLOSE HAEMORRHOIDECTOMY.
For blood in urine a proper workup will be needed to ascertain the cause.I would have done urine ruotine examination to look for microscopic or macroscopic haematuria.I would have done X ray kidney ureter and bladder to look for a stone which can cause bleeding.I would have done ultrasound kidney ureter and bladder to look for any anatomical abnormality, any stone or mass arising from the afore mentioned structures, look for thickness of the bladder to ruleout Cystits which is infection of bladder.I would have done intra venous Pyelography or Cystoscopy or and Ureteroscopy under specific indications.
I would also have looked for the platelets in your blood.Deficiency of these can cause bleeding.I would have done
prothrombin time and activated
partial thromboplastin time to look for deficiencies of some clotting factors..
I would suggest you to meet a
general surgeon and a
urologist immediately as bleeding is an emergency..mean while remain calm and hydrate yourself adequately.take tablet
tranexamic acid 500mg for bleeding.
Thanks.
Hope the answer is helpful.
