What Causes Blood In Urine Of A Child?

Hi. My eight year old daughter sometimes has a little blood on the toilet paper after urinating. she is not complaining of burning when she urinates and she doesn t have a fever. But in the past she has had a couple of UTI but she took antibiotics for them and they went away. Is this a UTI without the normal symptoms?

Hi, blood in urine can be due to many reasons but most commonly its caused by urinary tract infection and renal stones. In my opinion, you should do urine routine microscopy and culture test, x ray kub and ultrasound kub and revert back with reports. Take care.
