What Causes Blood In Urine?

I have the same problem now. My period end 4 days ago and I feel pain whenever I pee. There's blood coming out together with the urine and I keep wanting to pee after a few minutes later. And the blood seems a lot. Can someone tell me what may cause this?

Hello! Welcome to HCM.
This can be due to a stone in urinary tract.
Calcium oxalate stone has spikes on its surface, which cause trauma to mucosa in urinary tract & bleeding.
A stone in ureter causes obstruction to urine outflow, so smooth muscles in ureter contract excessively to overcome this obstruction & pain.
Many similar patients come in my clinic, to whom I advise urine routine, ultrasound abdo-pelvis, X-ray KUB, renal function tests, BSL.
Treatment is done accordingly.
For temporary pain relief, consult your doctor for smooth muscle relaxants like drotaverine and diclofenac, tamsulosin, diuretics etc.
