What Causes Blood Spots On The Undergarments Of A Girl Child?
MY boyfriends 8 year old daughter has claimed to have her period to my boyfriends brothers girlfriend. i dont get to see her very often but my bf is really stressed out about it and we are shocked as anything, i asked what makes her think shes got her period and apparently she has had spots of blood over the past few days, i asked the other adults that see her if they have seen anything? but the girl wont show them her underwear making exscuses. Instead she was given a tampon by my bfs brothers gf. i am starting to think there is seriously something wrong with this 8 year old if shes lieing about getting her period. Apparently yesterday she told her mother shes been having blood spots for a few days and her mother explained what a period was and now today shes claiming she has it. I think this girl needs a DR or someone whos mature to guide her and not those making her grow up so fast.
Thank you for the question. What you are thinking seems to be right. But her mother needs to check her under garments for confirmation. At times excessive scratching may cause bleeding, a few drops. But it will definitely help if she is taken to a pediatrician/adolescent consultant who can examine and counsel the child ad parents. Using tampons at this age is not advisable due to many reasons. If it turns out to be a precocious puberty then the doctor will be able to guide properly.
