What Causes Blood Spotting On Tongue After A Tongue Biopsy?
Hi. My dad has a tongue biopsy a few weeks ago. On the 7th day the threads burst and there was a lot of bleeding. He has had to have stitches 3 times since the biopsy. No they habe sticthed him up with threads that melt by itself. Today is the 6th day since the last stitch up. On Saturday night he noticed some slight bleeding. Now there is no bleeding but when he puts gauze there is spots of blood. Very little though. A spot. Is this normal or should we go see a doctor?
