Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My doctor gave me a diagnosis two days ago and can t for the life of me figure out what the name was. It involves my blood sugar spiking from one end to the next. Do you know what this May be called. It s a long name with about four or five words in it?
The most common disease involving changes in blood sugar is diabetes, the medical term for which is diabetes mellitus. Other rarer diseases can cause changes in blood sugar, but these are unlikely.
Make sure to check your blood sugars regularly and follow up with your primary care doctor.
Hope this helps,
Dr. Sheppe
