What Causes Blood With Mucus From Rectum After Coughing?

My question is....I coughed and I felt something come out of my rectum...I went to the bathroom to see what it was and it was blood with some mucus, what could this be? I am not sure if I have hemmoroids or not....I had them during my late pregnacies years ago. Thank You!

you may have rectal prolapse which can happen in women after multiple pregnancy and delivery, if you have issues with fecal incontinence this could be related to bleeding from hemorrhoids with increased abdominal pressure from the cough that escaped.
