What Causes Bloody Nasal Phlegm Discharge With Tonsils Blockage?

I have a question about phlegm. For the past 2-3 days I ve been feeling as though I have had something stuck up behind my tonsils... I stick my finger down there to see what it was I don t think I should be doing this and I felt nothing so I snorted really hard and a large firm rubbery like phlegm came out with blood in it... I have had a mild cold for the past 2 days and have snorted about 4 of these out around the size of an Australian 20c piece.. I do not know what it could be and would like to know?

Welcome to healthcare magic..
I have gone through your symptoms...nothing to be worried...you have got sinus infection causing mucus tickling into throat and stickiness and constant feeling of clearing the throat...and the tonsils I fiction can lead to a bleed due to increased blood supply in the infection...
I would recommend a course of antibiotics and levocetrizine with ambroxol combination to desolve thick mucus...you can also take steam inhalation...don't worry you will be alright....wish you a good health...
