What Causes Bloody Stools?

Hello ,the last past year I ve been off in on with blood in my stool , now the last past week it s gotten really bad and painful with not only a lot of blood but blood clots & my legs feel really weak I m scared I ve made a dr appointment but it s some time away and it s getting worse day by day

There are lot reasons for bloody stools. if you are having bright red blood it is mostly from colon. if it also painful I think about 2 causes. diverticular or hemorrhoidal.

Do you have any fevers.

as you are also getting leg cramps, please do not wait see the doctor immediately or go to emergency room to be seen quickly.
