What Causes Blurred Vision After Cleaning The Eyes?

i just pulled a jelly like substance out of my eye?? everything has been kind of blurry for a couple days and i thought i had an eyelash in my eye a few minutes ago because there seemed to be a black like in my eye so i took a q-tip with a damp tip and tried to get it out. i ended up pulling a jelly like substance off my eye. it was like a contact lense but extremely flimsy; folded in on itself as soon as i pulled it out. almost looked like the gel from an aloe vera plant. there was one on the other eye too. and after i got it out i could see perfectly fine again.
