What Causes Blurred Vision While On Antibiotics For Sinus Infection?
Hi I have a sinus infection I got anti biotics today I was just luring in my bed and it felt like my ears were poppin I had blurred vision and I suddenly had no energy and was very hot this lasted for about 20-40 minutes now the ear popping gone but feel massive amounts of pressure behind my left eye and still not 100% vision from it and there s this liquid coming out my nose that absolutely stinks what does this mean
As per your symptoms it looks like severe sinus Infection.. There is fluid accumulation in the sinuses causing congestion and severe pressure.. Blurred vision is also due to pressure build up in the sinuses. As there are large sinuses present behind the eyes there can be pressure , pain and blurred vision..
So first of all consult an Emergency room and get evaluated.. A x-ray can also be taken.
You should continue antibiotics and along with it take decongestants like Phenylephrine, mucolytic like Bromohexine and antihistamines like Levocetrizine. Use decongestant nasal spray like Xylometazoline. Do saline nasal irrigation and steam inhalation.. Avoid irritant and spicy foods.. Drink plenty of warm water..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
