What Causes Blurred Vision?

Yesterday I was sitting having a conversation when my vision started to blur. I the. Couldn’t see anything out of either eye. It lasted about a minute then slowly started coming clear. My right eye came clear in a right to left (ear to nose) direction and stopped about 1/2 way. It was like a film over my eye (could see light but nothing else) stayed this way for a couple of minutes and the. Went back to normal.
