What Causes Blurred Vision?

Yesterday, I experienced wavy lines in the corner of my eye. My vision was blurred by this. It was as though I was under water looking out. If I had been driving, I would have had to pull over. This is the first time this has ever happened. I have an appointment with an Ophthalmologist in two days - just anxious to know what it may be.

It is not posible to diagnose without examination. refraction, and fund-us examinations is requered.without examination the treatment will be guess work.
