What Causes Blurred Vision, nausea And Loss Of Equilibrium?

Hi, I fell down my stairs a few days ago...ever since my vision is a bit blurry, but I feel like my equilibrium is totally off. When I turn my head from side to side things blur and it makes me nauseas.

Should I get checked out, or will this go away on it's own. I wasn't hurt bad, just a few small bruises.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

Regarding your query for blurred vision and loss of equilibrium and nausea, I would like to say these are the features of the acute vertigo. This may be due to-

1- Acute Labyrinthitis.

2- Meniere's disease.

3- Severe eustachian tube obstruction.

4- Complication of chloesteatoma ear.

Above are the common causes of vertigo and all of them has got their own clinical features. So now you have to consult your ENT doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

Regards.
