What Causes Blurring Of Vision?

Today, (and many times before,) my vision got suddenly blurry. It was almost like i had like a film over my eye and obstructing my vision. I haven't noticed whether or not this is being triggered my a certain action or not, but it did occur today after reading for about an hour. About an hour after the vision blurriness occured, i looked in the mirror and my pupils were constricted to an extraordinarily small size. Then I started to wonder if this little body phenomenon was linked to my photophobia. Do you have any suggestions on what to do or what could be causing this?
