What Causes Body Aches After Stopped Taking Antibiotics For UTI?

I just got off antibiotics for a UTI. The last few days I took the pills, my head iched really, really bad. I couldn t stop scratching. That went away when I stopped the pills. However, now my body aches all over as though I had the flu or something. I not sick, just ache all over. Could this be an after reaction from the antibiotics I was taking. All I want to do is get under the covers with the heating blanket.

The symptom you're describing suggests fever. You should check your body temperature with a thermometer as soon as possible. Sometimes allergic reactions may present with chills or even true rigor, but this is not very common. A urinary tract infection with fever is a semi-urgent situation that requires antibiotic treatment. Since you seem to be allergic to certain antibiotics you should contact your doctor and tell him about the latest problems you had and have him examine you and suggest an alternative treatment.
