What Causes Body Chill When Suffering From Heart Disease?

My 86 year old mother in law just called me saying she just woke up from a nap but felt cold inside her body...strange feeling....she has atria fib and a weakened heart muscle working at about 1/3 capacity is this feeling cold inside something that is real and should I be concerned about it?
