What Causes Body Pain With High Fever?
Hi Doctor, My son yesterday returned from school and complained about body pain followed by red face with high fever. the face color changed to normal but fever remained high 103 even after giving medicine. He is constantly complaining about body pain and is feeling sleepy

Hi,
It seems that your son might be having viral fever giving rise flushing of face, generalized body-ache and malaise.
Give him paracetamol for fever and body-ache to give symptomatic relief.
Give him plenty of water and fluids.
Give him light diet.
Within 2-3 days he will be alright.
Ok and take care.
