What Causes Body Tremor Along With Appetite Loss And Headache?

Yes, my mom is visiting me. She is 85. For a few days he has been having alternate symptoms of shakiness, a cold, loss of appetite and a headache. Then she fell on her face today at the airport and bruised her cheek. She has not been prone to fall before now. She thinks her doctor gave her too much Vitamin D and calcium, and wants to stop taking it.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Tremors in old age due to age-related muscle weakness or essential tremor or cerebellar stroke or posterior circulation stroke etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Other possibilities like BPPV, cardiac problem or vestibular neurinitis etc. Please consult your neurophysician/cardiologist they will examine and treat her accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
