My husband has had one episode of acute body trembling and it was attributed to a complete loss of urination for some hours because of an engrossed prostate. That problem was solved, and he was recovering nicely when today he had a similar event with shaking, feeling cold, etc. He went to bed and I kept him warm and the seizure stopped after a while. However, there was no problem with his urination which has been working well, even after the catheter was removed some 10 days ago. What can be the reason for this event? He is not taking any medication and in general is in good health.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
There must some diagnosis for the episode of trembling or seizure, because both the symptoms are different. It could be Parkinson's disease or it could be grandma seizures, in fact such case need complete clinical examination to reach up to the right diagnosis. Needs some investigations like CT scan or MRI, he is on catheter so must be having some illness beside the prostrate enlargement.
