What Causes Boil On Back Oozing Brownish Pus?

Ive had a small bump/boil on my back for a few months. It was originally a large zit my wife popped. Just recently it s started getting bigger again and my wife has popped it 4 days in a row with brownish pus, white string discharge, and smells very fowl.

Thanks for the query.
Folliculitis is a bacterial infections.
Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.
Please meet a dermatologist and request to do culture and sensitivity test on pus obtained from the lesion for exact diagnosis.
Once the exact bacteria is known, specific treatment can be given.
Improper use of antibiotic can lead to resistance.
