Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been told I have considerable bone density loss in one knee, I m in my mid twenties, females, not feeling unwell. I was treated for bursitis before a xray has now given this diagnosis. I am now waiting for Mri scan to find out what s going on but I m getting increasingly nervous and worried about what it could be. Does anyone have any idea what might cause this?
Don't be too concerned. Osteoporosis is weakness of bones. Is usually seen commonly after certain age.and is part of usual aging. There are drugs to reduce this loss.
