What Causes Bowel Movements To Smell Burnt, Runny And Yellow In Color?
I have just started having bm s that smell burnt. They are slightly runny and a little yellowish in color. I have been having terrible back pains and have been taking quite a few ibuprofen and BC Powder to try to get some relief. I am just a bit concerned as this has never happened before. Thank you.

The yellow color is from bile being transported more quickly than usual through your intestines.
If this persists longer than five days you need to have a stool culture sent to the lab to check for infection
