What Causes Brain Fog Two Months After A Car Accident?

My husband was in a car accident, two months ago. He is still feeling brain fog and he s having a hard time staying on task. He had an MRI scan two days ago but hasn t heard the results. I would appreciate your guidance on what steps we should take to rule out problems.-Paula

"Brain Fog" after 2 months from an MVA is concerning. I'd be concerned about something within the skull such as a subdural hematoma. Since he's not been contacted that probably means they didn't find anything acutely wrong architecturally. Perhaps, his mental faculties are down due to medication he might be taking for headaches or other pains from the accident? If not, then, an appointment with a neurologist is in order so that an neurological assessment may be done.
