Thanks for your question on HCM. Foracort is having formoterol and budesonide. Formoterol is Long Acting Beta 2 Agonist (LABA) while budesonide is inhaled corticosteroids ( ICS). Both are used in asthma and bronchitis to relieve bronchospasm. So if you are stop taking it ,bronchospasm will recurr and you will start having breathing difficulties. And these inhaled medicines are very good in tolerance. Very few side effects are seen like tremors, palpitations etc. But they are very very rare. So inhaled therapy is practically devoid of any side effects if your technique is proper.
