What Causes Breathlessness And Dryness Of The Lips While On Diovan?

Hi, I was advised 3 days ago to increase with 80 mg daily my regular 160 mg Dioven I am on for 6 years......I am experiencing shortness of breath and swelling/ dryness of the lips..... are those common side effects increase dosage of Dioven ?..... for 6 years I was tolerating very well my 160 mg daily.......

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern,
The symptoms you have suggest lowering blood pressure with sudden rise in dose.
Please consult your doctor for revising dosage schedule as per need.
Till then increase half the dose advised. Take plenty of water , light diet as advised earlier. Take rest. Avoid stress/anxiety.
